Philosophy |
- test level not higher than 2 Uo
- low number of tests shots is sufficient for the indication of dangerous PD
- PD detection is performed in the tail region, when the cable capacity is discharged
- the power demand for charging the cable capacity becomes extremely low
- procedure can be run either manually or automatically controlled by the computer
- dangerous insulation defects are located semi-automatically, based on the program CDA-Exploration
